Art in the Park

Throughout the spring of 2007, over 400 young people created artwork inspired by a Scenic Hudson park—or any Hudson River scene—and submitted it to this online gallery.

   

Fifteen Prizes Awarded at Riverfront Festival
On May 20, 2007, more than 90 young artists joined about 300 people at our "Art in the Park" festival at Poughkeepsie's Community Boathouse. After a picnic and lots of fun activities, a panel of judges awarded first, second and third prizes in each of five age groups. Click here to see a slide show of the judges' picks.

   

Five More "People's Choice" Prizes Awarded Based on Your Votes

    Based on almost 6,700 votes, five artists who got the highest score in their age group were given a special "People's Choice" award consisting of a gift certificate valid at a Hudson Valley arts and crafts store. Click here to see a slide show of the winning entries.
